Song and Story Circles + Potluck

Traditionally, songs and stories have always been a way for communities to enhance social communication, learn about the more-than-human world around them, uplift the spirit and pass on important morals and traditions to generations downstream.

At True North, Song and Story Circles is our thoughtful and, well, fun way of honoring this ancient way of building community.  Monthly gatherings of Song and Story Circles will happen throughout the year, once a month, followed by an optional potluck.

Beginner to well seasoned singers and storytellers can enjoy the simplicity of Song and Story Circles.  Join TN as we meet at local nature park locations for Song Circles lead by community member, Elisabeth Gonella and sharing stories.  Anyone is welcome to participate or simply come to listen and enjoy.

"And I say the sacred hoop of my people was one of the many hoops that made one circle, wide as daylight and as starlight, and in the center grew one mighty flowering tree to shelter all the children of one mother and one father."
